Katie Troyer is an abstract visual artist in Greenwich, Connecticut. She primarily works with high-quality watercolor or acrylics on board or canvas. Her works are for sale and she also is available for commissions.
For me, painting is an act of watching color come alive, of witnessing how pigment moves, responds, and finds its own place on the canvas. I am constantly captivated by the way paint interacts with surface and space, shifting from intention to surprise, from control to surrender. Each brushstroke is both a choice and a discovery.
Katie says…
“My most recent series is inspired by the presence of the Holy Spirit and the radiant truth that Jesus is the Light of the World. These works explore illumination, movement, and the quiet power of spiritual encounter. Through layers of color, texture, and flowing forms, I seek to express what cannot be held in words, the warmth of divine light, the breath of the Spirit, and the sense of being guided, comforted, and transformed.
I hope these paintings create a space for reflection, peace, and revelation. Ultimately, my work is an invitation to pause, to look deeper, and to experience the beauty of a light that never fades.”
